Long Grove’s Green Areas
I moved to Long Grove to sell real estate several years ago. I had heard about all the green areas and parks that Long Grove had to offer. The first thing I did after I purchased a beautiful two-story traditional Long Grove home was go out and buy two big dogs.
I have always wanted pets, but I was never in the position to have any. I have always lived in high rises where there wasn’t enough space for animals. My Long Grove home definitely has plenty of room on the inside and on the outside. Most homes in Long Grove have big yards that would be any dog’s dream.
There are also many green areas all throughout Long Grove for us to run around in. Long Grove is basically surrounded by green. One of our favorite places to go is the Reed-Turner Woodland. It is a 33-acre nature preserve made up of oak and hickory trees. Indian Creek runs through the south side of the preserve. On hot days we love going to the preserve and the dogs like cooling off in Reed Pond.
We also love going to Buffalo Creek Park, which is a five-acre park located on Buffalo Creek. Although Long Grove homes are beautiful, my favorite parts of the town are definitely the parks. Living in Long Grove is like living in the middle of a natural paradise. Join this beautiful community and enjoy its gorgeous parks. Find a home at www.realestateinlonggroveil.com.
